Body: Double stitch side seams with split yoke. 23" wide x 28" long on 15-4.
Sleeves / Cuffs: Double stitch sleeves with 8 1/2" wide sleeve and one cuff button.
Pocket: 5" with 'V' stitch.

Sounds like the O'Connell's Fall River oxford is a close sibling to my J.Press Fall River oxford. Sweet blue color, average heavy weight fabric, and an excellent collar roll. The double stitched side seams are the only potentially perceived drawback.

Charlie- It is. I did ask Press to contribute but the NYC store mgr declined telling me, "Your blog doesn't do any business for my store."

That manager, if he is who I think he is, hanging around at that desk near the Aldens, is an unsmiling dude. And he's wrong: I've learned a ton on this blog in the last year and his store is very much a beneficiary of my time reading this blog.

To David Wilder: Tell your colleagues at J. Press how unfortunate it is that you all passed. I'm a long-time customer (mostly at the Washington store but I have bought from you a couple times in New York) who happens to be about to shop for some OCBDs. I love J. Press, but based on these reviews, David Mercer and O'Connell's will get the order.
