Never understood the "blueblood" hunter's wardrobe. Do you really want to soil that shirt with bird viscera? And the tie... Jesus Harold Christ. Please post the the second photo with the dog mauling the master.

Fantastic title! I would have thought that wearing a shirt that looks like a country table cloth would scare off the quail. Silly me.

I would buy this shirt in a heartbeat and then take the dog for a walk. Excellent shirt and hound.

Great haircut. I bet there's Brylcreem in there.

Stew- It's a magazine ad. I don't think that model would know how to load the shotgun.

M Lane- A bit of stealery from Nat'l Lampoon.

Fou- That dog looks a little fat.

Tweed- I'm all over those DAK cords and the split rail.

Back in the day when one wore a necktie afield...great photo...of the English Setter. That model looks like he is more suited to "other" pursuits than Upland Game.

Thanks, I recently purchased a gingham shirt from J. Press. However, it is way too big (broad) in the shoulders for my physique. Much more so than a Brooks Brothers shirt in the traditional fit. Is this typical for a J. Press shirt? Any chance I may have it tailored? Thanks much.

Emaciated, big head, narrow shoulders ...... looks like he could be Natalie Portman's brother.

Afraid of ducks too

Hilton- If you're difficult to fit then that's what MTM is for. A cheaper alternative to MTM is to go down a size. The guys at Press are the best but they always suggest I try on a shirt or sweater especially if it's a new season. Some stuff is cut huge (this years Shaggy Dog) and some cut slimmer (last years Shaggy).

Unless you have a very good and cheap tailor, screwing around with a shirt outside of shortened sleeves ($20) and darts (?) may cost more than it's worth.

Caption reminds me of Save Toby, one of the all-time great internet hoaxes. Now THAT was a website!

Agree the model's head is way too big for his body. And he looks like he uses bronzer. Really creepy.

Thanks much for the advice. I have returned to the way I dressed in my teenage years. The Trad Prodigal Son has come home.
