The TommyCOM looks similar to the Army Achievement Medal.

C'mon Tintin... obviously these guys are SF operators, what with the beards and long hair.

SF= Special Forces or Style Forum?

TH has always been Ralph manque. The spread collars, the jeans and black tie, the red Ferraris, the house on Mustique.

As ridiculous as many of RL's get-ups are, they are head and shoulders above TH in terms of quality.

They were right there behind you when you left the tail end of a perfectly functioning C-130 for a HALO jump. Wearing army issue geek-chic glasses way before they became hip. Oh, and did I say it was at night? Yup, of course those two were there: they have the ribbons.

There is a bar band here in Houston named "Commie Hilfiger".

Looks like their cats died. Or at least that's what an old timer used to tell me when I'd show up for work without having shaved. Took me a while to figure out what he meant.

Tommy Hilfiger may actually be a bigger douche than Ralph Lauren. Either way a race to the bottom.

Tommy ran head shops and hippie jeans stores up in NY State. I knew people who knew him and his family. A great entrepreneurial story...in a retail garmento kind of way. But it was the Murjani or however you spell the name...family money that elevated him from head shop/hippie jeans store purveyor to whatever he was/is. I think those Murjani folks owned or backed Sergio Valenti jeans at the time as well. Nothing wrong with any of the Hilfiger story. But there's no genius or new vision/approach chapter in his journey. At all.

John, If I see any punks wearing these fake award pins they will get an earful and more from me.
