Wise Words from Carrie Fisher...

Carrie and I shared a typist, Miss E, back in the 90's. Miss E was referred to me by a friend who was friends with Ms Fisher. I never got to meet Ms Fisher but Miss E took me to the cleaners for a little over $900 for typing a screenplay. One of my late lessons in life. Learn to type.

I would hate to have to write a screenplay without the help of final draft... all that formatting would likely make my brain explode after 120 pages. I may be insane but $900 actually seems pretty reasonable!

One year during high school, I didn't do so well in English - so I had to go to summer school and take an English course. My Dad used to type very well and I was impressed. So, to fill the gap in time, I took a typing class after the English class. Best thing I ever did. (They really should have "spelling" classes in the summer too!)

Trad... I linked you to a post I just did about the NPS family. Thanks for the heads up!

I can't imagine anyone on "The Internets" having beef with The Trad or tintin, for that matter.

I can be available to type one for you for half that cost. Being a former resident of good ol' Ft. Monroe, it's my special offer. ;)
