Just this morning my wife was lamenting the sale of her Pogues CD in a yard sale. Like minds...

Those statue photos you took are still fascinating.

Love the Pogues reference, even though you used a song written by someone other than the brilliant Shane McGowan (I love Phil Chevron too though) whose image is to the left.

Paul- I love Shane but this is such a NYC piece. I used to hit the pubs in Hells Kitchen in 1985 and '86 hitting on red haired Irish bar maids. They were everywhere and I got no where.

Paul - I'm sure you've heard this by the Radiators-

Thanks for that song - fantastic.

I knew my comment made no sense given the cool photos of Ellis Island but since my picture on Blogger is Shane I had to comment (should have said image to the right).

Between The Pogues, Big Audio Dynamite, and Style Council, British Punk bands like The Clash and The Jam have a lot of great music as their legacy.

Did you ever see any of them in London in your Lloyds' days?

Paul- Only saw a Jam tribute band at a friend's 40th. They were pretty good. I have pictures somewhere...
