How is it that you have a Woodman's shirt and I don't? Good thing we're taking the kids up that way for apple picking this weekend. I bet they only sell t-shirts now, but if they have even one of those left, it's mine.
Fatfriend- I was thinking more along the lines of light rum, grapefruit juice and a tad of Cointreau. Shake and strain into a chilled martini glass. Four of these and you'll see St Augustine too.
In the 80s and maybe early 90s I was all over those Duck Head chinos and shorts - the faded beautifully. The shirts were good too.

ReplyDeleteWoodman's??? Home of Chubby Woodman, the inventor of the fried clam?
ReplyDeleteExcellent choice!
Ahh, Duck Head. Miss you.
ReplyDeleteI dreamt I saw St Augustine...

ReplyDeleteDuck Heads were the best!
ReplyDeleteNoted. Points to you, that's a fine suggestion, though I believe Bob probably was using something else.
ReplyDeleteFatfriend.
When I was younger, we visited my aunt in Tewksbury MA every summer. A trip to Woodmans was a required part of the visit. Ah such memories of youth.
ReplyDeleteThere was a mom and pop ice cream shop quite close by... damn I can't remember the name... anyone?
I like the duck head (or is that Duck Head?). I could even wear it to a home game!
