I love that stuff. My wife still has a closet full of it. We try to replace pieces as they wear out, but they last for a long time and look great up to the moment they turn to dust. Not as easy now to replace, but possible.

anon 18:18- That's the great thing about this clothing. It lasts forever. Not so good for a retailer. I'm convinced that's how thousands of the those classic college apparel shops went outta biz. It takes 20 years. of wear before a lot of this stuff needs to be replaced.
Interestingly, Pendleton has reissued a couple of similarly nice women's skirts (and jackets) from the 40's, no less. Only without the Scottish kilt history thing.
Didn't I wear that to the Winter formal in Dececmber of 1980....ME
