I was in Chapel Hill in '67, taking another shot at higher education. Tintin, were you one of those kids tearing around on bikes and barely missing us pedestrians?
I am actually class of '58, so I'm about ten years older than these chicks. Still not TOO old for them...
Chapel Hill can cast a spell, but every hill has a north face and not all spells are bright. I have known students who wouldn't apply anywhere else, and graduates who spent their adult lives trying to get back, one way or another.
Thomas Wolfe ('20) said you can't go home again. At least, we can look homeward.

They certainly can be Trad and Preppy. The Wasp part might be a little harder to do for reasons that seem to elude you...
