Not to sound like a broken record about brands like this, especially around here where I'm surely preaching to the choir. Nonetheless, here I go: if A&F Then met A&F Now, A&F Then would kick A&F Now's ass. Soundly.
I like the one on the left - a lot. Very cool saddle shoulders on that one. I also really miss the block/patch shetland wool sweaters that were so common in the late 70s and early 80s. I know someone who was wearing one of those at church last night (it was Christmas Eve here). Merry Christmas!
You've got a thang for those horizontal multistripe sweaters. I'm gonna see if the Flusser cashmere one is still available at Steinmart when I'm in SC tomorrow.
TinTin, I hope Santa filled your embroidered silk stocking with only the finest 100% cotton Pima, heavy weight imported cashmere and the finest single barrel bourbon...oh, and couple of Cubans for being such a good boy in 2009. Cheers in 2010. ME

Brian- There called Poor Boy sweaters and originated, best I can tell, in London in the late 50's or early 60's. Happy belated Chrismas.
Richard M- Lots of AF ads in M. Overall some nice stuff but no where near the integrity of the original. Sorta like Chris Craft which I'll post later this week.
ADG- I just hope I don't look like Pugsley Addam's in 'em.
