Channelling AAW, I was checking out a thrift shop a couple of days ago. I noticed a really beautiful young woman trying on a pile well chosen clothes and she having so much fun doing it. When she put on a wedding dress with a very dramatic train, even the staff stopped to admire the astonishing result. It`s so rare that I think a wedding dress looks spectacular. The dress fit her to a tee but it really was the way she wore it. She was just one of those rare women that have incredible knack for wearing clothes and knowing how to move with them. I am sure that somewhere Madeleine Vionnet`s heart fluttered at the possibilities. How I love spring!
Oyster- Madeleine Vionnet? You're killing me. I do see a handful of women in NYC who know how to move. Many times they're not very good looking. Sometimes they're chubby. But when I see them they take my breath away with their confidence and presence. Tall, thin models disappear when they stand by these special women and it Only reinforces my belief that the whole fashion thing in general, and photog Terry Richardson in particular, are the true vulgarians of our time.
love it, love it, love it...
