Where I live, in Berks County PA, there is a hole in the wall beer distrubuter that has stacks of cases of the stuff. Between the the A-Treat soda and High-Life pony bottles. Pennside Distributers in Mt. Penn. I thought twice about buying some of each the last time a made a run.
There was something about the crappy taste of Tab I loved. It was kind'a metallic, aluminum and sweet, all at the same time. It was so bad you had to sip it and you really didn't want another one -- for at least a week -- which is why it was so effective at helping folks lose weight. Genius. Seems hard to find in NYC. Not sure it's because of the Whole Foods effect or if something is really happening. Anyone know?
My grandmother still pours me a glass of this every time I go over there. Her fridge is STOCKED with it as if it was stuck in the mid 60's. Shall I ask her where she finds it, or just have her ship you some of her personal stash?
If ya wanna tab, ya gotta buy something.
ReplyDeleteI hope so. My mom used to drink Tab and Fresca and I thought they were the two worst things I ever drank. And I've had a lot of drinks.
ReplyDeleteWell, they aren't worse than a Bud Light Chelada...
