I REALLY want to see you on The View with those ladies! This is amazing for you - fame can come in the least expected places! Go with it! Enjoy! We miss you. DMW
Quite the honor, yet so sad it had to be an issue with such a disappointing cover story...seems even Vanity Fair has condescended to sell magazines. Too bad it wasn't in the July issue with the lovely Liz Taylor on the cover...you know, a real lady worthy of a cover story.
I finally cracked open my copy of VF, and there you were! Excellent selections and I am so pleased to see how much PR you're getting, especially since we all know how much time and effort you put in to this blog!
You should have been on the cover!
ReplyDeleteHoly shit, is that you? LOL!! Next thing you know, you'll be appearing on The View talking about how to get in touch with your inner Trad. Too funny.
ReplyDeletePowder blue, polyester pantsuit.

"So Doctor. I opened up The Trad blog and saw Lady Ga Ga staring at me. The room immediately started spinning and everything went black."
ReplyDeleteWOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOO. Congratulations!
ReplyDeleteFantastic that you got quoted! Cheers, Tintin!
ReplyDeleteFashion may have gone viral, but color sure did not. Muted, muted, muted. They need more of your color sensibility.

Congratulations! How exciting!

...as it should be.....Trad-ditionally speaking of course...
ReplyDeleteTintin,
ReplyDeleteGood choices. The irony that is lost on Vanity Fair is that, as a trad, those are your recommendations for EVERY Fall, not just this season.
Can we assume that they did not bother to source a blackwatch plaid jacket for the pictures?

See if you can score a table at the Waverly Inn tonight.
ReplyDeleteEither my comment was lost or it was ignored by a style guru.... Can I tell people I know you?!
ReplyDeleteLady Gaga personally requested you for this one, eh?

ReplyDeleteCongrats. I look forward to hordes of fashion forward types sporting Famous Grouse ties.

Congratulations!!!
ReplyDeleteYou are now officially an arbiter of style. Well done.
Vanity Fair now joins my RSS feed as the only two places in which tintin and Tavi Gevinson appear side-by-side.
ReplyDeleteGreat choices, my friend.
You rapidly become a force to be reckoned with...well done!
ReplyDeleteVF is my favorite mag for general reading and I await this issue eagerly...
First the New Yorker and now Vanity Fair. That's hot.
ReplyDeleteBeyouteeful! Tintin leading from the front again. Proselytize.
ReplyDeleteJust remember the little guys when you get real, real famous.
ReplyDelete"Lady" Gaga scares the bejeepers out of me. In contrast, the tie is nice.
ReplyDeleteaw yeah.
