Splendid piece. You're getting famous, T-Unit. I eagerly await my copies of TI. I think I would rather live in a society ruled by university-educated men selected for their patrician beauty, than in a so-called meritocracy ruled by hostile high-IQ rootless cosmopolitan nerds.

If you say his reputation precedes him then I believe it. But does this guy usually write about menswear? For the NY Times there are quite a few blatant factual errors.

ReplyDeleteInsightful, indeed! Trebay does have a lot to say, and reference. Never knew Take Ivy was so sought after in the industry.
ReplyDeleteRemember though, Bill's Khakis pulls freely not from prep, but from WWII pride. Only we might make that logical association. I'd go so far as to conjecture that most of their customers have ventured nowhere near an ivy league college. Can't speak for Mercer Shirts, however.
