Paninaro
Paninaro was the Italian Ameri-Phile. A look in the 80's that centered on baggy shirts, tight jeans, Henri Lloyd jackets and Vespa scooters. That's an Italian made Brook's Brother's shirt from a few years ago. Can Brook's Brothers sell Italy back to the Italians? Buena fortuna.
Oh, I love that dress shirt, but I'm not so hot about the whole mix.
ReplyDelete...Oh boy......the phrase "irrational exuberance" comes to mind
ReplyDeleteWatch out for that shirt. It's really nice, but the menswear nazis will have a field day with you over it. Believe me, I've been there.
ReplyDeleteNot that such a raking over the coals seems to have ever influenced your decision making.
I want the shirt and the tie.

The shirt is a pattern from the 1930's and was sold by BB just after the Italian guy bought it. Made in the US of Italian fabric --I thought it was a great sign of things to come. I thought.
ReplyDeleteJoe - I should probably change the title of this post to irrational exuberance.
