It has been too many years since I have seen the windows at Bergdorf Goodman, or any other store in the city, around the Holidays. The display looks great, but what did you think of the movie?
Brian- I read the book before seeing the picture. I loved 'em both. Great holiday movie even though it's not really about a holiday. A must see in my book.
I saw these windows last Thursday when I did my usual pre Christmas trawl of NYC. Bergdorf's displays of of mens clothes along with those of Paul Stuart definitely tower over most of the others. Bergdorf has some lovely merchandize but sometimes their prices cause serious sticker shock. I saw a combined fabric outer shell bomber jacket with a knitted inner shell and it was over $4000!.....incredible......on the same day BB were having a special one day sale on topcoats with 40% off and a few of their styles (not all by any means) look very good and at less forty are very good value.
