For Tucker

He will be missed. An engineer's perspective of khaki and oxford. A Georgia Tech alum who probably chanted at UGA /GA Tech basketball games,"That's alright. That's ok. You'll be working for us someday." I will miss his blog, travels and unique southern take on getting dressed.

  7. Fine tribute to Tucker. He had an uncanny way of finding great subjects for his blogs, always delivered with humor and insight.

  8. tintin, many thanks.

    Duckheads, a Col. Littleton No. 1 belt and tartan. Appropriate for my obit, and very 'southron'.

    It is often overlooked, however, that my primary sartorial influencers were the many Cornell undergrads (such as the esteemed Sartre) populating my home town. Then throw in my father's big-company corporate look, my short high-school stint in Alabama, and a little polishing from the OPH and college; the die was set.

    Sorry I had to take the blogs down completely. I might have left them up, but I recently began receiving e-mails from people who either thought they knew me and wanted to get back in touch or didn't know me but wanted to get to know me better. A little creepy and disconcerting. I might come back in a somewhat more 'anonymous' manner next time.

  9. Tucker-Thank you for the update. A shame you had to take it down but I certainly understand. You have a lot of fans. I'm thinking the uncreepy kind. Just regular schmos like me and Longwing.

  10. And I will miss your referrals. I got more hits from your blog than any other (even the very popular Clemsongirl).

    Should I be offended nobody wanted to get to know me better? ;-}
